Take your diving skills deeper with the PADI Deep Diver course! This specialty course teaches you how to dive safely and confidently to depths of 40 meters (130 feet), exploring new underwater environments and maximizing your dive experiences.

Who should take this course?

If you’ve earned the PADI Adventure Diver rating or higher, and you’re at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Deep Diver course.

Duration: 

Typically 2–3 days 

Academics: 

Learn about the physiological effects of deep diving, the use of specialized equipment, dive planning, and how to manage potential deep-water risks. The course includes both theory and practical training, with four deep-water dives. 

Equipment: 

Standard scuba gear is provided. You’ll also be introduced to dive computers, specialized gas mixtures, and safety equipment designed for deep diving.
