Dive longer and safer with the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course! This course allows you to use Nitrox (a mix of oxygen and nitrogen) to extend your no-decompression dive times, making it ideal for divers who want to maximize their bottom time and minimize surface intervals. Nitrox is a popular choice for both recreational and technical divers.
Who should take this course?
If you’re a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. Note that in some regions the minimum age is older than 12.
Duration:
Typically 1 day (can be completed in a single session)
Academics:
Learn about the benefits and risks of diving with enriched air, how to analyze tank contents, and how to plan dives based on Nitrox mixtures. This course includes theory and practical applications, but no in-water dives are required.
