Short on time but want to become a certified diver? The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the Open Water Diver course and is perfect for those who want to dive under professional supervision. Upon certification, you’ll be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet) with a PADI professional anywhere in the world.
Who should take this course?
To enroll in a PADI Scuba Diver course (or Junior Scuba Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required, but you can try it first through the Discover Scuba Diving program.
Duration:
Typically 2–3 days
Academics:
Covers basic scuba principles and skills, including dive planning, underwater communication, and safety procedures. Includes confined water training and at least two open water dives.
Equipment:
All scuba gear is provided, including a mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank, and weights.
