Take your diving skills to a higher level with the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course prepares you to handle dive emergencies, assist fellow divers, and increase your confidence underwater. It’s a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience that teaches you how to recognize and respond to potential hazards and emergencies in and out of the water.
Who should take this course?
PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers who are at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course
Duration:
Typically 3–4 days
Academics:
Covers dive accident management, victim assessment, self-rescue, rescue of others, and emergency procedures. The course includes knowledge development, confined water training, and real-world rescue scenarios in open water.
Equipment:
All standard scuba gear is provided. Additional equipment like first aid kits, dive flags, and emergency oxygen tanks may be used during training.
